Chromite Sand

Physical properties of Chrome Ore

1. Density: The density of chrome ore is usually 4.5-5.5g/cm³, which is one of the important criteria for evaluating its quality.

2. Hardness: The hardness of chrome ore is relatively high, usually between 5.5-6, and has good wear resistance and durability.

3. Color: The color of chrome ore is usually black or dark brown, with a metallic luster.

4. Particle size: The particle size of chrome ore is one of the key factors in evaluating its quality. The commonly used particle sizes are AFS35-40 AFS40-45 AFS45-50 AFS50-55

5. Thermal properties: Chrome ore has good thermal stability at high temperatures, the melting point is usually around 2150℃, the thermal expansion coefficient and thermal conductivity are low, and it has good high temperature resistance.
